Greg Williams, President and founder of The Williams Company, is a lifelong resident of Union County. Greg has been intimately involved in the home construction business for over twenty years. Throughout high school and college he worked in the family masonry business and, upon graduating from UNCC, worked there full time. In 1986 he co-founded The Williams Company with his father, Noel Williams, then became sole owner in 1989.
Since its formation, The Williams Company has built hundreds of homes in the Union County- Mecklenburg County area. William's disdain for subdivisions where every other house is the same has led him to develop a diverse and ample portfolio. He is a true custom builder, excelling in making each house the customer's own.
Though skilled in building homes of many styles and materials, Williams is naturally partial to brick. With his family background in the masonry business, Williams can usually build a brick house for much less than other builders.
Through his experience as a builder, Williams learned the value of not just creating a Buyer's dream home, but creating their dream neighborhood. Through affiliated businesses, Williams works to find the best available parcels of land to develop into some of the area's finest neighborhoods, like Shannamara, Willowbrook, and Price Mill, just to name a few.
